Amazon RDS Blue/Green deployments enable you to update your database with minimal downtime. You create a copy of your production database (the "blue" environment), make changes to the copy (the "green" environment), and then switch traffic from the blue to the green environment once testing is complete. If issues arise, you can easily switch back to the blue environment. This minimizes disruption to your application and users during updates.
