AWS IoT Rules automate actions on data received from connected devices. When your devices send data to AWS IoT Core, you can configure rules to process that data and trigger actions like sending it to other AWS services such as AWS Lambda for further analysis, storing it in Amazon S3 for archiving, or sending alerts via Amazon SNS. This allows you to build automated workflows based on real-time data from your IoT devices without needing to write extensive custom code.
